What will it take to scale mobility data spaces in Europe?
On 1 October 2026, deployEMDS will bring together professionals from the private sector, public-private organisations and the wider mobility ecosystem in Brussels for the final Innovation & Scaling Group (ISG) Workshop.
The workshop marks the final ISG meeting of the deployEMDS project and provides an opportunity to reflect on two years of collaboration while looking ahead to the next steps for European mobility data spaces.
From value to deployment
The workshop will explore how data space technologies can support real-world deployment and scale-up, building on the project’s findings on the benefits and value of the European Mobility Data Space for different stakeholder groups. Participants will also have the opportunity to share perspectives on the opportunities and barriers to deployment.
The afternoon will feature three parallel expert-led discussions:
- CCAM, led by José Rodriguez, ERTICO
- Urban Mobility, led by Milnael Gomez, UITP
- Authoritative standards deployment, led by Harrie Baastiansen and Bernadette Farias, TNO
The discussions are designed to encourage exchange between deployEMDS stakeholders and external industry players, with the outcomes contributing to the project’s final reporting and recommendations.
