How can mobility data spaces help cities and regions address real-world transport challenges? The deployEMDS project invites cities and regions to explore this question at the final Network of Follower Cities workshop, From transport challenges to data-driven solutions: lessons learned from deployEMDS, taking place online on 23 October 2026.
As the project approaches its conclusion in February 2027, deployEMDS partners will share updates on the project’s progress, key findings and lessons learned from its implementation sites. The workshop will highlight how mobility data spaces can support data-driven transport planning, enable innovative mobility services and contribute to the development of the Common European Mobility Data Space.
Participants will discover how the implementation sites have collected, shared and used mobility data to develop valuable services, gaining practical insights into the challenges encountered and the approaches adopted. The session will also present concrete guidelines and explore opportunities to replicate these approaches in other cities and regions.
By bringing together cities and regions interested in developing or adopting mobility data spaces, the workshop aims to support knowledge exchange and help local and regional authorities identify opportunities to apply these solutions in their own contexts.
